Divisions...

In a world, big and huge...

Where are the similarities...?

I am from Asia and 'you' are from America...Division!

I leave that discussin and come back to Asia...I look around, we are all Asians.

But i am from South Asia and 'you' are from the West. I chuck the debate and reach South Asia.

I breathe in ...feel good, We are all South Asians. We are one...NO

I am from India and 'you' are from Pakistan. We argue and we fight.

I leave the debate and reach India, my motherland, my nation, my heart!
Phew...no more divisions...We are all Indians...

But no, I am a South Indian and 'you' are a North Indian
I am a West Indian and 'you' are from the East, or from the North East.

I leave this debate too and come to Gujarat, where I am presently staying...All Gujjus? NO!

I am a Kathiwadi, you are from Saurashtra..Hindu-Muslim... Parsi-Sindhi...

Too much!

I enter the NID gate and feel relieved...

All NIDians. Great...
But not really!

I am from A-hostel, 'you'are from B hostel. I am from FVC, 'you' are from Textiles...


I am dark, 'you' are fair, I recite the Hanuman chalisa and 'you' offer Namaz!

Who am 'I'? Who are 'YOU"?

There are differences... many infact, which is natural... There has to be divisions and partitions...


But when I ask 'YOU" ... "Deep inside, are we actually different? Are we divided?"

'You' think, ponder upon it, breathe in...and say "NO!"

'I' am 'you' and 'you' are 'I'...

interesting read...its another genre of poetry where words dont rhyme but thoughts do (if you know what i mean)

sharing a perspective: knowing that you are different is not wrong ,till you relish this difference and appreciate the learning that comes with everything thats not 'you'. the key, i think, is not to think too much :)

It's an easy ife and a simple world. We complicate... At the end it's just that 'I' or that one @you'... n nothin else!

The TEA garden visit!

Priyanka Vadra in a tea Garden in Assam  8:08 pm, Jorhat First of all, I am really sorry for not posting my blog this Sunday. I have been busy buying, setting my new house here. But meanwhile, I along with my wife took a short trip in the city, to the world famous tea gardens. I had always seen them in movies or television. In fact, recently I saw an image of Priyanka Vadra visiting a tea garden (image). Jorhat is not huge city, but it is a town of a good size, where all the points of my motive, have been just around 15 to 20 minutes. That is the size of the town.  We have recently bought a two-wheeler and it has come as a boon to travel across the city. We have bought a sky-blue coloured Vespa (Pic) and we are loving taking random trips on it. Our new Vespa. Memories of my 'Chhote Mama'!

Hyderabad,  August, 2020. When he was born, he was the younger brother. So, his parents named him 'Chhote'. Even his younger siblings called him 'Chhote' bhaiyya (younger brother). My chhote mama recently passed away because of Covid. It is painful, because it happened very soon, and from a man who was walking freely, to a straight pan dead body! I don't want to cry now, because I have admired my Chhote mama's (uncle) positive patience, always from a very young age. It is one feature of his personality which I had admired.  I am sharing some of the memories, which I have cherished all my life, some memories, which are pretty clearly imprinted on my mind, some time I had spent with him alone. Let us begin: MEMORY-1 Secunderabad, 1994 I was little! My mama had come to our place in Trishul Line, Secunderabad. These are some very clear visual memories of Trishul line.
